Today was my second day behind the front desk of the LIU Writing Departement. It was a lot more quite than yesterday. Most students already had their papers due yesterday, only some classes had exceptions. So that meant that today not a lot of students needed tutoring.
I did have to use different functions on the appointement system on the computer that I did not have to do yesterday, like setting up online sessions for online tutoring, so I did learn a bunch of new things even though there was not a lot to do.
The reason that it was so quite was because the semester at the University is ending, and the next one only starts a while after I leave. So they are kind of in between semesters right now. This probably means I will have some different tasks starting next week, if it stays this quite.
Tomorrow we will pay a visit to the cloisters, a part of the metropolian museum of art, and afterwards we'll spend the afternoon in Central Park.
